00:02:10: and Really excited to speak with you today about the topics.
00:02:15: You're bringing to the table because I myself have been, yeah...I left my home country Austria and I traveled a couple of countries And i've been building my business along the way.
00:02:26: The audience knows my story but we would love to know yours Jenny.
00:02:30: How did you even decide?
00:02:32: To be like okay..you know
00:02:33: what?!
00:02:34: I'm going to travel!
00:02:36: By the way....i am starting your business
00:02:38: So Let's go back to, so I was born and raised in Germany.
00:02:43: In a very small town in Germany – three thousand people!
00:02:48: From then on when I was eighteen i moved to Hamburg which is bigger And then at sixteen, I had done an exchange program in California.
00:03:22: just me feeling as if I was accepted there, more so than i was in Germany.
00:03:27: And I fell in love with how open and tolerant and accepting and non-judgmental Americans were and how they're always away... If no solution would have been a way.
00:03:40: You've introduced the American dream to Quirana's your own which I agree.. In Europe it is little harder to be accept that I made this experience too.
00:03:51: Yeah, absolutely.
00:03:53: So then I decided after being in the US for four weeks as an exchange student at nineteen when i was done with my high school exam and everything... ...I decided to move to the
00:04:03: U.S.,
00:04:05: just to study there.. ..and then I got a job!
00:04:09: And two years into my job.... This is not very fulfilling and it's also not very great to have only five days of paid vacation.
00:04:18: as a European you're used to.
00:04:20: It's twenty-five to thirty days of pay vacation, right?
00:04:23: So I was like this is not it!
00:04:25: And i want to travel more...and LA was pretty far from anything.
00:04:29: so..I really wanna travel.
00:04:31: I'm twenty-five years old.
00:04:33: I want to do things....And also I am NOT very happy in my job.
00:04:36: Because of that ,i was ALSO not very happy with my personal life And my friend said, Jenny you should do a hypnosis session with my hypno therapist.
00:04:46: I was like okay i don't know what that is but let me try it.
00:04:51: and so...I tried it!
00:04:53: After the first session I woke up at five AM and had made the decision to quit my job and travel the world.
00:05:00: It's just done.
00:05:01: there were no more questioning nothing And I had decided and went.
00:05:08: So then, I was a virtual assistant for little bit but then i decided to found my own business.
00:05:16: Okay let me go back to that moment.
00:05:19: We will speak about hypnotherapy and subconscious programming in the moment how it can help us make better decisions and helps our businesses.
00:05:28: But you were new to hypnotherapy at age twenty five.
00:05:33: Somebody recommended this And can you give us a direct comparison to how you felt about traveling and leaving your job?
00:05:43: before, It
00:05:53: felt like the question was, how?
00:05:54: How am I going to do that.
00:05:56: Like i really don't know what is gonna happen...I'm scared!
00:06:03: I have never been by myself as a virtual assistant or anything else or any other work experience
00:06:12: right?!
00:06:15: This was biggest question in my mind and then after hypnotherapy There was still that question, but there wasn't any fear around it.
00:06:26: It was just like I will do this... ...I am doing this and i'll figure out the how on my way in here.
00:06:34: This is usually what it is because often we have to speak vision of a big dream.
00:06:39: The How is always the biggest question.
00:06:42: And when I realize for myself I start thinking about the BIG things in the far end, like either about... The goal I want to reach which is usually bigger than i can even think at that moment or all of things.
00:07:01: I think I need to do this.
00:07:03: don't come too yet Like skills that are needed to learn etc.
00:07:07: instead just looking what's right infront me Which you describe it so beautifully.
00:07:12: It's a decision first and after.
00:07:17: we then move forward.
00:07:19: What was the
00:07:20: next
00:07:21: step you took after having met a decision and having had the clarity?
00:07:26: Then I told my bosses two weeks later, I was like um...I will leave you in six months if i can!
00:07:35: You know..i'll figure everything out , i'll figure how to get a replacement for me .
00:07:39: I figured out how you won't miss me so that It was April, twenty-twenty six.
00:07:49: So almost ten years ago to this day and as it's gonna air is going To be a bit more than ten Years ago but that what I did.
00:07:57: i set A timeline.
00:07:58: And upto That Timeline I remember I signed Up for few different Webinars in coaching Just to really see how Other people were doing it.
00:08:09: How are other People traveling the world while working online?
00:08:14: And the first thing what I decided was, I will have a travel blog and then i'll be making money on the site as virtual assistant or translator.
00:08:25: Yeah that's it!
00:08:28: Then you didn't move onto today?
00:08:33: Yes, after having five jobs or six jobs and burning out.
00:08:38: I had to make a decision of only focusing on one thing which is hypnotherapy And after him ahead tuberculosis that isn't almost deadly disease for anyone who doesn't know.
00:08:51: and That end the burnout changed me too Okay?
00:08:55: I can only do one thing here and I have to go all into one thing.
00:09:00: It's very powerful story because it Again, it reminds me of you.
00:09:04: I would never recommend to anyone quit your job and move the country.
00:09:09: Like i did that twice because It causes a lot of sleepless nights thinking not everyone is made for it but as someone who has consumed or used hypnotherapy areas in my life and smaller, bigger issues I know that it can be very supportive.
00:09:37: For someone who doesn't know.
00:09:38: Jenny what is hypnotherapy and subconscious reprogramming?
00:09:42: could you shortly explain us so we can dive deeper into your work?
00:09:47: Yes, absolutely.
00:09:48: So as of right now you are listening to this podcast and you're judging analyzing criticizing thinking all the things that your brain is normally doing in a normal conversation Right?
00:09:59: There's nothing wrong with it.
00:10:00: It just is.
00:10:00: That's how your brain works.
00:10:02: But then imagine You are being put into relaxation.
00:10:06: Either do by yourself or have somebody who helps you relax Who guides you into relaxation.
00:10:13: And that is when the magic happens.
00:10:15: When we relax, when we turn off that thinking analyzing criticizing judging mind of us... ...when we turn all of that off it's like we get to go really deep within ourselves and access the patterns that are not good for us anymore where they come from why their there?
00:10:35: how have served up until now?
00:10:37: or we get to release pain and symptoms, Or We Get To Really Imagine Our Goals Without The Questioning Voice In Our Head That I Had At The Beginning Too.
00:10:49: How Is This Possible?
00:10:50: And the fear in all of that?
00:10:51: right.
00:10:51: you get to turn All Of That Off.
00:10:53: You Simply Get The Vision Of This.
00:10:57: is It!
00:10:59: The steps will be shown to you, but this is your vision and you've got it.
00:11:03: You can go ahead and do
00:11:04: this.".
00:11:05: And the magic of hypnotherapy... Hypnosis simply being a state of relaxed that's all there really
00:11:13: I think one of my most beautiful descriptions i have ever heard.
00:11:16: because who doesn't want in every relaxed state get things done?
00:11:24: That are helping to get where you wanna be by not doing anything.
00:11:32: I think that's the magic in it, is that you are not really actively doing
00:11:36: something.".
00:11:37: And now everyone listening to this might be like hmmm...I'm not sure if thats working.
00:11:42: just as you said Jenny That You're probably sitting here listening to these episodes and judging them Be like yeah they've already done it.
00:11:49: They have easy talking because uh..they been there already?
00:11:54: They left their countries?
00:11:55: They traveled world?
00:11:56: They built businesses.
00:11:58: Actually, what it really is about that starting point.
00:12:02: And I think those noises and voices we have in our heads are society's voices.
00:12:08: Jenny whose voice has you been listening to?
00:12:15: Who was your biggest critic?
00:12:18: I would say my parents, for sure.
00:12:20: My parents number one and then probably small minded people from my small town.
00:12:26: or yeah these are the two biggest ones.
00:12:30: Yeah i mean a ton of three thousand people.
00:12:32: everybody knew you Everybody new how who you know what your doing.
00:12:37: And um How did you introduce them to this idea?
00:12:43: And how did you get past the point of not having to disappoint them and doing it anyway?
00:12:49: So I was a... young woman already when I was seventeen, and went to Oman by myself.
00:12:56: To visit my former boyfriend there?
00:13:00: So my parents knew once i set mine into something...I will actually do it!
00:13:04: They'll still say like hmmm..do you think this is a good
00:13:06: idea??
00:13:07: How are u gonna do
00:13:08: it??
00:13:09: And im like guys....i don't know
00:13:10: how!!
00:13:11: I will just do it because ive done
00:13:12: before!!!
00:13:15: Don't ask me
00:13:16: how!!
00:13:19: mom has come around, I would say to the point where she's just like actually gonna do whatever.
00:13:24: My dad as well.
00:13:26: but my Dad also doesn't fully understand what I'm at or doing and i have had to accept that it is okay And That I cannot Do anything about anyone else.
00:13:40: state of mind whether they agree with me Or don't Agree With Me.
00:13:43: That Is None Of My Business And I can't let that get to me because, um...I also don't want to change the ways.
00:13:49: Like if- Ah!
00:13:50: That's way too.. I would have put in so much energy to change someone's way or state of mind and it doesn't know my business not my job.
00:14:00: Yeah, I don't think people can even succeed to change someone's life.
00:14:04: I know that my dad is just right now as i'm recording this with you Jenny he sitting downstairs and every time I run down to grab a glass of water in between the recording sessions then I changed blazer And sometimes I run very fast because I have back-to-back appointments and it's just looking at me in a way like what are she doing?
00:14:24: Like, how is this kid?
00:14:26: I'm three-eight by now but i know his thoughts.
00:14:29: like How Is This Kid Even Surviving?
00:14:32: What what is she doing?
00:14:34: and there's something to it that the generation of our parents will never understand their online world And I believe It is a form Of Leadership To Step Really Into Your Full Potential And Do It Anyway Because As Long as They Know I Am Doing Great it's enough for me, because they are happy.
00:14:55: They're satisfied and I don't have to cause more tension or explanation or scare them of all the scary things we do here online on social media so that you really know how scary is.
00:15:08: because for what?
00:15:09: And when we seek acceptance from external acceptance be also easily acceptance support, if there can't be any support we lose ourselves in proving that.
00:15:25: We can instead of directing the energy into what you know?
00:15:32: What were building how did you prevent yourself from not proving to others but actually being really focused on.
00:15:43: So the way that you prevent it is mostly focus on people who are serving, helping and want to work with them.
00:15:54: Rather than focusing more or further ahead of you.
00:15:58: Um, that's just wasted energy.
00:16:05: But I can say...I don't know about you but sometimes i do get sucked in so i have to call myself back!
00:16:12: I have to become aware of that and then i have To Call Myself Back.
00:16:15: No Jenny this is not what we're doing.
00:16:17: This Is A Waste Of Time.
00:16:18: Focus On What You're Here For.
00:16:20: focus on the people who want to work with you Who you Want To Serve?
00:16:23: Who Love You?
00:16:24: Who You Love?
00:16:26: Love Is a Much Better Energy Than Judgment Or Anything Else You Know Of.
00:16:32: Other People Are Comparising or jealousy, so I'd rather be in the energy of love.
00:16:38: But i do have to call myself back from that and it's just a matter of being aware constantly being aware.
00:16:44: knowing this is me having to call my self-back.
00:16:49: You said we need create awareness when you realize
00:17:01: Ooh, when I am not feeling good.
00:17:05: When i'm not feeling happy.
00:17:06: so and then...I also limit my social media consume.
00:17:10: So you know if-if im like half an hour scrolling Im like oh shit okay let me just get off that app now.
00:17:17: Comparison?
00:17:18: She's better here?
00:17:18: Comparision?
00:17:19: Yeah
00:17:20: or when I Like me as a woman, right?
00:17:23: I wish every single woman and every single man.
00:17:26: I wish everyone happiness And success.
00:17:30: but when i find myself thinking like uh how does she get here?
00:17:33: Oh She probably had that too to get there or she probably did this To get their unlike.
00:17:39: wait a minute jenny.
00:17:40: um no we're not doing so.
00:17:44: This is
00:17:46: Yeah, so being supportive of other success rather than envious.
00:17:51: Is this what you're saying?
00:17:52: Yes and then What I've learned from someone else on tiktok there's a good video i watched.
00:17:58: It's always saying instead of saying how did she get here How does he get this?
00:18:01: or why does she have this before me?
00:18:03: or whatever it's.
00:18:05: This is for me.
00:18:06: So these four words this is for Me really knowing that the universe is showing You like your future success or your future.
00:18:16: And you can just decide to say, this is for me instead of saying what does she have that?
00:18:24: That's very powerful.
00:18:25: to just flip the switch and see why I'm seeing it because It's out there from me Because he found me Instead of envy a person.
00:18:37: On the other hand if we don't like someone's content We could just scroll by not watch and they could share love to the things we like.
00:18:46: So, I know now from my perspective when i get sucked in into this is that I'm tired.
00:18:53: My confidence drops Like oh my god it goes to minus two if had a sleepless night didn't have show up infront of camera.
00:19:01: It's really something thats bothering me And im so dependent on good nights sleep.
00:19:07: And I know that while I was traveling Southeast Asia, it was one of my hardest times ever because It's so freaking loud everywhere.
00:19:15: ACs outside units people motorcycles like.
00:19:20: i wasn't expecting That and had really a hard time for ten months Of poor sleep and no confidence...I Was doing.
00:19:28: But now if someone decides to say okay?
00:19:31: I'm doing this How, what would you suggest or how do recommend approaching these things?
00:19:37: to not burn yourself out while traveling?
00:19:40: Building a business.
00:19:41: Give us your experience of being on the edge of burnout and going into full-burnout.
00:19:52: at that time
00:19:53: I will say i went in to full-burning And I would say don't do it like me, because i didn't have a lot of savings.
00:20:24: six to twelve months, and then you can build up if you want a completely quit.
00:20:29: If you don't wanna completely quit... You know?
00:20:31: ...you could do thirty hours per week or your forty-hours, but it really depends on what is right for Just going without having a lot of savings.
00:20:50: I've made great friends and i've had A LOT OF GREAT EXPERIENCES, but still would i recommend that?
00:20:55: No because then i burnt myself out And i got sick very sick until i almost died really.
00:21:01: So this is something i wouldn't recommend.
00:21:04: But i'd say the most important thing Is to find something you love Find your way before you quit And find what it is that you love doing and find, What It Is That You Want To Be Doing Before You Quit Anything.
00:21:20: Then try out different avenues, different ways... ...and Try Out What You Have Fun With!
00:21:25: Do you have fun on Instagram?
00:21:26: Do your fun on LinkedIn or TikTok?
00:21:28: Or Facebook?
00:21:30: Find the social media platform if you don't like social media.
00:21:33: Find another way to make a website or a sub-stack or something else.
00:21:38: Also try out other things soon dropshipping, try out whatever it is that you want to be doing.
00:21:45: But the most important thing Is You Have To Have Your Why Behind That?
00:21:49: So I also tried creating t-shirts and probably tried every single online thing right there but my biggest why i ended up with was because feel better and to help them release their traumas, that was with hypnosis.
00:22:08: And then I also created documentaries which were fun in all!
00:22:14: But at the same time this is not fully it.
00:22:17: so really find a thing that makes you go like oh this fills my heart ,this feels my soul .
00:22:23: This is right thing.
00:22:24: from than on i think steps will be shown too.
00:22:28: First of all, shout out to you Jenny for being so honest and vulnerable.
00:22:33: Saying don't do it like me because everybody would come up with the idea that we're going this way but I've done it in a different direction.
00:22:41: This was just my most honest answer.
00:22:45: You know, we all learn from our mistakes.
00:22:49: And I think having this conversation and also bringing these guests to the show like my why?
00:22:53: Why created on a business buddies podcast is because there's not one way to build their businesses that are at thousand ways.
00:23:00: And when they hear stories from other people who just feel so connected and see the reality behind it cause of reality is ain't gonna be easy if you're feeling invisible Having a hard time to break through the noise, inconsistent with creating content not knowing what to say and how.
00:23:21: But deep down you know your message and work can change people's lives?
00:23:25: Then listen up!
00:23:26: I have created something so powerful for you.
00:23:29: It is called the Magnetic Influence Accelerator A high-touch group program that helps build personal brain and visibility strategy.
00:23:38: works for you without being glued to your phone.
00:23:40: twenty four seven.
00:23:42: This isn't about chasing trends or faking authority, it's about showing up clearly consistently so you attract clients collaborations podcast invites and real opportunities that grow your business.
00:23:56: inside the program You will learn how to clarify Your message and stories.
00:23:59: So always know what to say.
00:24:01: create content That feels aligned not forced.
00:24:05: build trust to present and not pressure.
00:24:08: Grow visibility beyond social media, like pitching podcasts and guest posts And you get coaching feedback and a supportive community.
00:24:18: so your
00:24:18: never
00:24:19: doing it alone.
00:24:20: Head over the show notes.
00:24:21: The link for more information is right below if it works out for you.
00:24:36: If not, I think the most important thing is to build that resilience and having why gets you every single day on your feed because it will get damn important when things go astray!
00:24:54: It'll be so important when they're hard or don't work well but need to look at their own data which isn't fun looking.
00:25:03: And I think there is where the why just becomes so extremely powerful that you can go too bad and be like, okay.
00:25:09: I'll be here tomorrow again.
00:25:12: if You now think Jenny looking at your five jobs and four thousand dollars in The decisions you have made do you?
00:25:21: Think That Hypno therapy would have supported you back in the days to I don't know, do it a different way?
00:25:30: or to have had maybe the capacity to push
00:25:34: through.
00:25:34: It did support me because i was actually working as a virtual assistant also for a hypnotherapist and so i did have sessions.
00:25:42: but what's would have supported me more, I think is definitely people who already had experience in that and what i wanted to do or build.
00:25:53: Which also got a coach.
00:25:55: but there's beautiful quote which says when you built your business the person you were becoming it harder than your business.
00:26:05: Hypnosis has helped with breathwork, everything helps building resilience.
00:26:12: There was no, so hypnosis.
00:26:15: Yeah it has definitely helped me but there is nothing that could have prevented from burning out because I think i needed to get to the point and decide for myself if this therapy would be it alone.
00:26:32: So I think everything happened for a reason, and as it did help me now.
00:26:35: It's still helping me um And its is helping my clients in everything and i'm grateful for that But there was no way I could have prevented that with anything Mm-hmm
00:26:47: but a wake up call needed to happen so you could find your why.
00:26:51: Yeah
00:26:51: How are you looking back at failure today?
00:26:55: I don't see it as failure.
00:26:57: I See it as lessons that I had to learn so that I can share what nuts do, maybe on this podcast somebody was thinking like oh four thousand dollars let me just go no.
00:27:10: So i would say i look back at failure in a way that it is lessons and also at the end of the day i don't regret anything.
00:27:21: i don' t regret my failures or decisions that ive made because What It Has Let Me To Is has led to beautiful experiences Like I Got To Do My First Safari I think when i was twenty-eight or something and it was the most beautiful thing.
00:27:35: I got to fly over Luxor in a hot air balloon, I got too high no way even though I stayed at the cheapest places and everything like these experiences nobody can take away from me!
00:27:46: And so there's nothing I regret...and if I died tomorrow?
00:27:49: I would be happy dying..I don't have anything that I missed out on because I know I lived my life to the fullest....And so failure was there.
00:27:56: yes but at the same time
00:27:58: It's okay,
00:27:59: it's fine.
00:28:00: That is nothing that has killed me.
00:28:02: if you haven't lost anything I truly believe listening to your story and how things went Is that?
00:28:08: You have gained and found yourself Like you have gained experience in here found herself or who we want to be in this world.
00:28:16: um i Have a last question now because I know society is the thing having studied sociology.
00:28:22: We want, we are seeking from nature belonging and it made me understand back in the days that belonging is great.
00:28:37: It's important but... ...we can't belong everywhere or to every group simply because not everybody can support our journeys.
00:28:49: What is your advice for somebody who really fears societal judgment, if they make the move.
00:28:57: If they go into as you say... They start to live that limitlessness expansion happiness and fulfillment.
00:29:04: what would be your advice?
00:29:06: So it would be what you focus on expands.
00:29:10: If you focus society being judgmental or anything, then that will expand and get these experiences.
00:29:17: but if you focus manifesting the right people into your life The people who love you understand You want to be with Who YOU love and feel excited about.
00:29:30: That is way more fun than focusing all of other stuff
00:29:35: And it helps.
00:29:36: I think that's really something where you can just turn away from what is not serving you and to put all our energy on, What we want to have.
00:29:47: because i didn't believe That was sitting for four years before my first business failed and I hit rock bottom mentally physically and financially.
00:29:55: I was sitting alone in the corner waiting You know?
00:29:57: Not even waiting but thinking I'm The only one experiencing this.
00:30:01: But the truth Is there are so many dreamers out there, and I'm saying this in a very positive way.
00:30:06: And so many visionaries out there who just really want the same as we want!
00:30:14: If you're listening right now to these and feel that pull... ...to give it a go?
00:30:21: To give your thought, your dreams, your visions ago….
00:30:26: …and if not therapy ago then you will find everything you need to connect with Jenny right below in the show notes.
00:30:34: And I know that Jenny is very approachable, we connected easily.
00:30:39: and if i can give you advice at this point it's go to people who have been there ,who've done it & who support during these journey because this where get their de-fastest!
00:30:52: I would love to round up this conversation with my last question How do see yourself spending your old years?
00:31:00: With animals, for sure.
00:31:02: Any animals that I can save on a little farm with some animals and also by the ocean still just having, because I'm not going to have kids right?
00:31:16: So i want a life when I'm older where I have friends.
00:31:20: Where I have great experiences while I don't shy away from things...I'm a dancer!
00:31:24: I will not stop dancing and I wanna have animals around me..I wanna be by the ocean....and then maybe writing something.
00:31:31: who knows
00:31:33: Oh my god, that sounds like pure fulfillment and me as a dancer too.
00:31:38: And also always had the vision to live by the ocean.
00:31:41: um you know we just might connect somewhere in the world in real person...like it's in real life and get to do things together when we're old.
00:31:51: I love that!
00:31:53: Thank you so much for being
